We were told yesterday that as long as Blake does not have any alarms and he passes his car seat test today that he can go home Saturday at 11 AM!! We are so excited at the thought of actually having him home. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Along with that exciting news, here is a little Blake update. He has had a very busy week. They took out his feeding tube Wednesday so he is eating all 8 feedings from a bottle. It takes a lot of energy, but he is doing so well at it! It is really nice to not have any wires, tubes or tape on his face at all.
He got circumcised yesterday. Not a fun process for Blake or us. It was so sad to see him so uncomfortable. After they brought him back, they let us hold him before his feeding time and he kept letting out these muted little whimpers. Hopefully he will feel a little better today.
And lastly, Blake is now over 5.5 lbs! He weighed in last night at 5 lbs. 10.3 oz.
He has made a lot of progress lately and we are so proud of him. Hopefully Saturday we will have going home pictures to share. We will let you know!

Oh, you guys! That is SUCH great news! I hope he has a great night tonight. Can't wait to see the GOING HOME pictures!
