Happy Easter

We had a good Easter Sunday this year.  Blake woke up to find the Easter Bunny had left him a basket full of fun things.  Blake is really into cars and trucks right now, so his basket was packed full of different monster trucks and Matchbox cars, which he loved.  He also got a coloring book, a couple of Easter books, some crayons, a fun light up Easter egg wand, and some eggs filled with marshmallows and graham crackers.
After Blake checked out his basket, we headed to my parents' house for the day.  We ate lots of food, attempted to watch Conference, and had an Easter egg hunt in their backyard.  Blake is still too young to grasp the idea of an Easter egg hunt, but we were pretty surprised that when he was led to an egg he actually picked it up and put it in his basket.  He definitely wasn't the fastest one, but he eventually filled up his basket!
Blake got lots of fun prizes inside his eggs from his grandparents, but one of his favorite presents was the Superman cape my mom made for him.  I am sure this will get A LOT of use in the next several years.
As you can tell by Blake's expression, we had a really fun day and we love that we were able to spend it with family!
